Frequently asked questions
What counts as an aircraft?
Any active aircraft in your organization's fleet counts. Archived or inactive aircraft do not count.
When should I upgrade from Free?
The Free plan covers up to 3 aircraft with all features. Upgrade to Pro when you need more than 3 aircraft or want to eliminate the 0.5% platform fee on payments.
What happens after my sign-on period ends?
After 12 months, your plan auto-renews at the standard Pro rate ($9/aircraft/month or $90/aircraft/year). You'll be notified before the transition.
How does payment processing work?
Your members' payments go directly to your organization via Stripe Connect — Wingtrex never touches that money. You pay Stripe's standard rate (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) directly to Stripe. Wingtrex charges 0% on top of that on Pro and Custom plans, or 0.5% on the Free plan.
Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. If you downgrade, you'll keep access until the end of your billing period.
Is there a contract or commitment?
No. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime. Annual plans are billed upfront for the year.
Do pilots or members need to pay?
No. Only the organization pays. Pilots and members use the platform for free — including their universal pilot profile.
