Frequently asked questions
How does the free trial work?
Every new organization gets 30 days of full access with unlimited aircraft, no credit card required. Wingtrex Training is included during the trial too. When the trial ends, subscribe to keep going; your data is waiting for you either way.
What counts as an aircraft?
Any active aircraft in your organization's fleet counts as one slot. Simulators count as one slot too. Archived or inactive aircraft do not count, and adding or removing aircraft adjusts your subscription automatically with proration.
What happens after my sign-on period ends?
After 12 months, your plan auto-renews at the standard Pro rate ($9/aircraft/month or $90/aircraft/year). You'll be notified before the transition.
What is Wingtrex Training?
Wingtrex Training is an optional add-on for organizations that run structured training programs. It adds org-owned syllabi, stage checks with independent grading, student progress tracking, and instructor session records, built for Part 141 workflows and just as useful for Part 61 schools. It costs $9 per active student per month.
How is Wingtrex Training billed?
You pay $9 per month for each student with an active course enrollment. Withdraw or graduate a student and you stop paying for them; billing adjusts automatically as your roster changes. There is no base fee, and it is included free during your trial.
How does payment processing work?
Your members' payments go directly to your organization via Stripe Connect. Wingtrex never touches that money. You pay Stripe's standard rate (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) directly to Stripe, and Wingtrex adds 0% on top.
Can I cancel or change my plan anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime, and you keep access until the end of your billing period. Annual plans are billed upfront for the year.
Do pilots or members need to pay?
No. Only the organization pays. Pilots and members use the platform for free, including their universal pilot profile and logbook.
How does Wingtrex pricing compare to Flight Circle or Flight Schedule Pro?
