1. Information We Collect

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and username. As a pilot you may add credential and compliance information, including certificate and rating details, medical certificate class and expiration dates, flight reviews, insurance, and documents you upload. As you use the platform we collect operational data such as reservations, flight and logbook entries, aircraft and maintenance records, squawks, and messages. For organizations we collect business contact and billing details. We also collect limited technical data (device, browser, IP address, and pages visited) to operate and secure the service. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are never stored on Wingtrex servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the Wingtrex platform, process payments, communicate with you about your account, support the compliance and aviation-safety requirements set by the organizations you belong to, and protect the security of the service. We do not sell your personal information.

3. How We Share Information

We share information with the organizations you are a member of as necessary for fleet management, scheduling, and compliance. We also rely on a small set of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf solely to operate the service, including payment processing, cloud hosting and file storage, database hosting, transactional email delivery, product analytics, and error monitoring. Each is contractually bound to safeguard your data and use it only to provide their services to us. A current list of our sub-processors is available on request.

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, and access controls that limit your data to the organizations you belong to. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Some records, such as billing, invoices, and flight or maintenance logs, may be retained longer where required for an organization's recordkeeping, legal, or aviation-compliance obligations. When you delete your account we remove or anonymize your personal data, except where we are required to retain it by law.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data through your account settings, and to request a copy of your data or ask us to restrict its processing. 7. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies that are essential for the platform to function, such as authentication and session management. We also use product analytics (PostHog) and error monitoring (Sentry) to understand usage and diagnose problems; these may set cookies or collect usage and device data. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell analytics data.

8. Children's Privacy

Wingtrex is intended for adult pilots and aviation professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
